FLOWER POTION
Gather fragrant flower blossoms as they begin to bloom.
Place them in a glass bottle with a tight fitting lid and cover with vodka.
Allow to
sit for several weeks, then strain.
The flowers fragrance and essence will be captured in the vodka.
This technique works equally well with herbs.
Use flowers and herbs to suit your magical intentions. I use
Scott Cunningham's book Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs as a reference guide.
This potion is especially nice to use for annointing during ritual - and to awaken the senses to otherworldly spirits. |
